Twice I have contacted Robert of 2v motors with the view of purchasing a motorbike. In both cases they have been advertised "starts and runs"
Both times this has not been the case.
Can you really trust a "mechanic" who can't tell the difference
This is a thoroughly competent and professional practice. All of the doctors and advanced nurse practitioners are very attentive. It's always easy to get an appointment. I moved here after 35 years at another surgery due to poor care for my mental health. I now feel very safe and well look after at Auchinraith.
I loooove this shop! This is our second visit on the island and it's the first place I go to: so many fab stones and crystals and they are always different! The jewllery is lovely too and really good quality.
Strathmore Travel. Orkney Tour. Orkney is a long way from Glasgow - it seems even longer on a replacement bus for a sub-contracted coach which has "Luxury" tattooed along the coachwork. "Luxury" all on the outside. The driver though willing knew nothing whatever about Orkney. Trips were truncated due to "lack of time". One hotel (Thurso) gave Fawlty Towser a run for its money. So a seat with a fine view on a school bus outing (advised toilet was for emergency use) to a picturesque destination
(and back of course - even longer). Others had used Strathmore before and felt let down by this. We'll never know if they can do better. No comment from Strathmore on a much more detailed account by the way.
We are from California and from the second we walked into this visual artisan antique shop, we feel in awe of all its treasures including the charismatic and talented owner. His lovely stories about his unique findings along with his passionate and humorous stories, is a must for anyone who enjoys antiques, art,
music and the art of language!
If we weren’t flying back to CA, I’d would have purchased many more of his lovely pieces.

I was booked in for a wheel alignment at 8.30am having work at 2pm thinking it's normally about an hour job so I'll be able to collect my car in time for starting work. After 6.5hrs I contacted customer service instead of the garage to put a complaint in as I hadn't been contacted to collect my car or phoned to be updated for any issues whilst completing the service creating a delay.
All is fine I phone the garage to see if and when my car will be ready to collect to be told my car is available
as soon as I phoned.
Anyway as I walked into the garage to collect my keys I was confronted by the customer service man about contacting customer service before getting in contact with him. I explained that I had waited 6 and a half hours and haven't received any updates or communication in regards to the service being provided henceforth the reason for contacting customer service. The ***t very defensive and tried to make me feel guilty by saying he had an issue completing the alignment due to another issue he had to fix free of charge and that if I had contacted him first he would have explained this to me.
First of all it's not the customers responsibility to get in contact to see what's going on with their car, secondly to have put in and complaint and to be confronted collecting your keys is unfair why should I be made to feel like I've done something wrong for complaining about bad customer service. And finally if there was communication from the garage this could all have been avoided so I hope this is something that will be taken into consideration.
This was my first and last time using halfords garage services and I don't think I'll be in a hurry to give them my money again that's for sure.
Absolutely disgusted to say the least.
I welcomed the use of eco friendly cleaning products because of my respiratory condition. However overall I would not recommend this company’s services to others. Little attention to detail, and owner did not return my message after cleaning my (already clean) flat. No reason given. Save yourself time and look elsewhere.
Order some sheet music by guaranteed special delivery. More than a week later I am still waiting. They have taken my money, but I haven't had an order confirmation yet. Email addresses to contact on the website just bounce when I tried them. Nobody picked up when I tried to call several times. Poor service. I'd like my money back.

I stupidly paid £300 upfront for a deep clean of my house prior to my baby being born. I booked it 9 months ago now. When I first booked it, a date was arranged- this was then changed (granted, I volunteered to delay it because I was told there had been a death). However, it was delayed again, and again, and again (different excuses each time)...and I finally got my first clean in April (having booked, and paid, in December). (Again, to be fair, because of all the trouble, I was told I'd get 6 monthly
cleans for what I paid, fair enough...but..)
When I booked it, I specially asked for certain things to be done, namely the oven- and it wasn't. Not only that, the downstairs toilet was completely missed and some other things weren't great (the toilets that were "cleaned" e.g.) I messaged at the time and said I was unhappy, and was told it would basically be better next month. Well no one turned up the next month (I had to get in touch with them to ask where they were and yet a different excuse was given). And the following month again, no one came so when I messaged, I was told she would be in touch- still waiting for that...
When I did eventually get my next "clean" it was short by half an hour, and when I questioned this, the cheeky reply about the air tag in the car made me furious. I have a ring camera, I can tell when they rang the doorbell and when they left- I'm not paying for people to sit in their car in my drive.
I've asked numerous times for a refund, I've said I'll pay for the hours worked but in no way was it £300 worth and I haven't even had the things done I specifically asked for. I've been ignored. I've acknowledge that things happen, but the more "things that happen" the less I believe any of it. They've now had my £300 for 9 months and I've been stressed dealing with them since then. The lack of professionalism, respect for their customers and general way of "business" is terrible. Reading reviews now, I see that I'm not the only one of their customers to be treated this way..
- She took £300 straight off on 6th December (I see now on fb it says 50%deposit required).
- I was asked to delay first clean until January- fine.
- I messaged multiple times asking to arrange a new date - was eventually told we would after Christmas.
- I message after christmas, I was ignored, repeatedly.
- I eventually got a reply- her child had been unwell, and could we make it February...
- I messaged a few times about a date in February, when I eventually got a response, the suggestion was the middle of March...
- Arranged for the middle of March, I messaged to confirm this date a few days before- was then told we would have to reschedule because she was "going to a funeral"
- multiple messages ignored, again.
- We eventually arranged for the 11th April.
- 9th April she was needing surgery
- I tried to rearrange another date, and was ignored.
- when we then agreed another date, this had to be delayed because she had an infection following surgery
- I messaged multiple times saying I was stressed, £300 down etc- was reassured ...
- eventually booked a date in May. When it came to the morning of, her tyres had been slashed (granted, she came later that day).
- had first clean, didn't do oven- standard wasn't great, I told her this and again, was reassured it would be better next time.
- for the next clean, I messaged to confirm- but her dog had died and she was taking time off.
-multiple messages were then ignored, apparently she "wasn't getting them.."
- New date arranged- and delayed, due to moving house.
- She was also on antibiotics so couldn't do oven...she asked to delay again...
- New date agreed, was told that someone had left the company, she would be in touch (still waiting...)
A long winded review, but I don't want anyone else to be £300 out of pocked to be locked in a circle of messaging/being ignored and fobbed off. All this has caused me is stress and anger, and she doesn't even have the decency to respond when I say to end the arrangement.
Graham is a very down to earth kinda guy brilliant instructor any questions or concerns I had with my driving he was there to guide me through it all the way till I was ready for my test. Not to mention has the patients of a saint and will more than happily go through everything with you bit by bit he also has a brilliant way with words if you struggle to remember your system he’ll come up with a creative sentence that’ll make it stick in your memory but hands down couldn’t of asked for a better
*ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE*
I was told prior to my appointment because my scar was so small the ‘patch test’ was going to instead be my first full treatment.
After my arrival I spoke with Aaron for a while about the procedure. About 15 mins in I told him I was on antibiotics and he said straight away he wasn’t going to do any treatment because I was on them . That’s totally fine but he was extremely rude the way he addressed it like I had wasted his time. No apology or plan of action
for going forward. I said “awe that’s a shame..I’m gutted as I’ve drove down here from Balloch” he snapped back “COME ON! , I have people travelling from Orkney and Shetland to see me !!! and you drive 10 mins away!!” he looked very aggressive and I immediately felt very uncomfortable . I said “no no…. It’s just, I got told today was going to be my first treatment that’s all” and he yelled “YOUR A LIAR!! , NOBODY SAID YOU WERE GETTING A TREATMENT TODAY!! “ . I was in disbelief to the manner he was speaking to me in and wanted to leave asap.
I said “ you’re being very rude” and as I sat up to walk out he clicked his fingers at the door and shouted “ LEAVE ! AND DON’T COME BACK!!!!” And walked behind me . I did not feel safe.
As a customer you should always feel welcome , at ease , secure and safe . I felt very intimidated and I felt he did not value my time as a potential customer .
He clearly thought very grand of himself, as he was acting as if he was my angry manager or something! . I’m so so glad I didn’t waste £300-£600 like I was going to spend. I got a lucky escape.
I don’t know who he thinks he is but he seems to act like he’s on some sort of pedestal in his own entitled , pretentious world that has no care for the downgrading way he speaks to customers!
Hope this helps others who are thinking of going to spend their money on this company. I’d definitely stay clear and go somewhere where you get treated with respect.

Bought a car from here and within 2 days realised car had an excessive oil leak in the engine, knackered exhaust which resulted in exhaust fumes coming into cab, and 4 severely buckled alloys resulting in tyres not holding air. Owners response when I asked for repair was to steam clean engine then ignored any communication attempts. The MOT’s are also fake, certificates are handed out without the car ever being looked at. I’ve had this car MOT done again by an independent VOSA garage
and it’s a MAJOR fail but surprisingly passed with no advisories the day before I bought it. Personally think 90% of reviews are fake as all similar, all customers know ALL staff on nickname basis? Most reviews sound the same, went that extra mile, great from start to finish. Writing reviews themselves. Cant be found on any accredited review site that requires verification of purchase as they can’t verify their own fake reviews
Staff is extremely rude - any information you wish to ask it seems to absolutely bother them in fact they constantly gossip in Vietnamese about each customer that walks in or that simply says a word. NO SANITATION ANYWHERE. They completely invent prices each time. The shop will be reported to financial authorities as they never provide a transaction receipt. They take cash without having a cash register which might be a tax evasion action. Be aware of this shop and the way they abuse of the market
and their customers money. In the end they are not cheaper & they also mistreat you better to go to a specialised shop with staff that smile, speak to you and behind you in english , clean and provide you payment receipt.
This place is a scam. Theyll sell you a premium protection plan to limit your liability, but any scratch to the roof will run you 10 grand (see pics). Keep in mind that the rest of the van is held together by duct tape. All of this is only mentioned when you arrive at which point you're already up to 1 grand in the hole, and when you ask to see their "price table" to at least gauge your true liability, they flatly refuse (even in hindsight). Dont sign their contract, theyll charge any credit card
you give them (even to just pay the linnen package, not the deposit), no further permission needed. It is impossible to speak to anybody with any authority, no recourse possible.
The only good thing I can say is that the employees at the site are thoughtful, compassionate and cooperative, but given the rigid and purposely opaque company structure, they have no power to affect the outcome. Absolutely no hard feelings to any of them, but the company is as scummy as they come.
Avoid them at all cost.

I would highly recommend these guys, Neil and Louise, they are the nicest and most genuine, honest people you will meet.
Arrogant staff who have no sense of attention and are lazy at work. I paid my deposit first of £150 from India and paid my first rent payment on the day of arrival and next working day. Literally ASKED them if there's any procedures to do when I'm leaving a month early, she said NO, all you have to do is pay the next rent payment you're good to go. No final checks in the system, nothing to clear nothing at all, lazy. No information at all about anything until when I m packing..... she says there's
a maintanence charge so I'll get back only £100 of the deposit. I found another flat and after multiple emails.....to today 5 months after I left I had to go to the accomodation to seek explanation they came up saying, "There's £400 still left to pay for the last month as you left early" and also says, "The £150 u paid was booking not deposit, so we don't owe you anything" I'm like wth? There was no information of this sort provided when I was in tenancy, if something is pending, it is reminded....which wasn't done and it's not as if I ignored, I was unaware something like that existed even, diabolical. So they expected me to pay £150 for booking so that noone takes my room, then a £150 deposit which is not even refunded fully( She literally ate up the whole deposit I got zero), then an advance rent of £550, then a first month rent £550 all before getting the keys to the room....£1400 before even getting the keys? She ends up saying, "You didn't do the payment doesn't mean you don't owe us £400". The worst part is I paid £150 from India thinking it's the deposit and my first rent payment of £550 and lived there for 4 months and left the acco everything smoothly without even a whisker of thought that this bullshit is happening behind and they didn't even care to say something like that is pending from the start let alone on the day when I was leaving. The worst attitude of someone working as a STAFF. I'll post a review everywhere I can. Worst ACCOMODATION.
Had a bathroom refit done by Barrmuir and have had nothing but trouble. Leaking toilet, faulty toilet seat, leaking shower, imperfections on wetwall,faulty mixer tap. The refit was done in February 2021 and the house is not lived in on a full time basis.
You would expect things to last longer especially when you only stay there part of the year.
Poor quality goods and workmanship would not recommend.
After the response from Mr Milne the managing director,who clearly knows nothing about consumer
rights. I was given advice from Consumer Rights Scotland who work in conjunction with Trading Standards, I was told I was within my rights over and above guarantee's and warranties stated in law in Scotland up to five years if things go wrong. Barrmuir refused to replace faulty items. I took it up myself to contact the manufacturer My Life Bathrooms in Northern Ireland, I explained the situation with Barrmuir who refused to help. I was put in touch with there technical department and spoke to a very helpful gentleman and was told all there goods come with a minimum 2 year warranty with the option to extend at no extra cost ( this option was never offered by Barrmuir so customers beware) the warranty ran out February 2023, I raised issues in April 2023 with Barrmuir.My Life Bathrooms requested photos etc of the issues and within less than 24 hours agreed to replace the items that were faulty no questions asked.
If Barrmuir had taken the steps to contact the manufacturer as I did it would not have got to this.

I am only putting this online to make people aware of their rights and double check before going ahead with jobs. Also make sure you get a break down on all items you purchase bath,showers etc as I could not give My Life Bathrooms the price for individual items. Luckily I managed to download a brochure for the items.
If I could give this a 0 I would. Literally the worst experience. I got extensions on 19th May. I’ve never had extensions before so trusted Jessica with this. She made me aware that the colour wouldn’t 100% match as I red hair but once all dyed it’d match, I accepted that. The hair was literally two different colours - not just slightly. This was fine as I sorted this after dying it myself. It wasn’t until people said my hair wasn’t blended. She never blended this, my natural hair stopped bluntly
then you could see the extensions, it was shocking. After I’d have my hair done by her she took photos, I asked her to send me then yet still waiting, this tells me she knows it wasn’t a good job. I had to go to a hairdresser at my own expense to blend this, this hairdresser also told me the extensions were way too high in top of my scalp so had to take some out.
I also bought an extra pack of hair, she said she’d post this on 5th June, literally still waiting for it. I’ve messaged her asking when she sent it, but I’m being ignored yet she can still post pictures of her work, she clearly hasn’t sent this but happy to keep the money.
She was also due to do a consultation for my friend after my recommendation when at first I thought she’d done a good job. Jessica then canceled her appt saying she wasn’t well but would rearrange. This was totally fine, no one can help being unwell. But my friend messaged asking for availability and when she’s free, for Jessica to read messages and not reply yet can post available appointments on instagram.
Literally the worst experience with getting extensions for the first time, I wish I’d gone elsewhere.
This girl now thinks its acceptable to post clients all over her social media slating them... never known anyone to be so unprofessional and embarrassing in all my life. She has been reported to the police for stealing and slander. Please stay clear of this 'business'.
Would be zero if allowed , product can be bought online much cheaper . Never use for a gift as return policy terrible even if you return same day no refund only credit note . Return policy not adequately explained and unexpected as refund within 14 days in most places .
Sold me a van and was told nothing wrong with it (GD19 VCU), Whilst driving home there was a loud nocking sound coming from the suspension, it was seriously down on power on the motoway and once i returned home i booked it into a garage for a service, the garage told me to come down and have a look, and bigger problems was discovered, the van had been in a serious crash and badly repaired, the whole front end was bodged back together, Missing bolts, parts from different vehicles, Tech screws holding
radiator in, front bumper SILICONED on!! Rear bumper fell off as i was leaving the petrol station, it turned out the bumper was held on with woodscrews!! upon the refund i was told DVLA will refund me for the tax i paid, after waiting multiple weeks for the logbook i phoned DVLA and they told me the van has never been in my name! ANOTHER LIE FROM THESE ABSOLUTE CROOKS! AVOID ALL ALL COSTS! I WAS WARNED ABOUT THESE PREVIOUSLY BUT TOOK THE CHANCE, BIG BIG MISTAKE!

Part of rear bumper fell off, Upon inspection it was held on via x2 wood screws (Completely inadequate fixings)

AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AT ALL COSTS! THEY ARE COMPLETE CROOKS AND WILL LIE ABOUT ANYTHING AND TRY TO COVER UP ANY FAULTS RATHER THAN FIXING THEM JUST TO GET YOUR MONEY!
Appalled at the condition my car was returned to me after this company had my car one week of a full year, in the day of its return I had to call rac out as the battery was completely dead. Each wheel had a tyre bolt missing, this means that I was driving my car for 3/4 days with only 3 volts on the wheels and to say the locking nut was not in the globe box where it should have been. Can I also mention that when my car was returned to me the tyre that was damaged in the accident was still in my
car? Why was this not removed as it could have blown out at any time. And you had the cheek to take £100 excess

Well where do I start. We had our windows, doors, bathroom & heating done from LGS Home Improvements.
LGS surveyor arranged a meeting with us and brought along their plumber/heating engineer. They gave us advice and designed our windows and door with all the new/correct legislation regarding fire egress etc.
Our Black windows look a treat. The finish to the bathroom was to a very high standard and we now have a warm energy efficient home. Thank you LGS for all your hard work. p.s Ross your welcome
Absolutely horrendous. Mini Spring rolls were cold and stodgy ,with no filling . The sauce was nothing more than a teaspoon of sweet chilli in a pot. Insulting.
Chow mien Was average at best.
Crispy shredded chicken was dire . Cold , as dry as a nuns chuff. Almost impossible to swallow , due to the length of time it took to chew through each piece , and the fact that it seemed to extract every bit of moisture from the mouth. It was a long way off being freshly made , I think it must have been
sitting under a heat lamp for three days .
It is a bad day ,when you order a Chinese meal , and the best part of it , is the generic standard prawn crackers.
Not the first terrible takeaway I have had from this place , but it is most certainly our last.
Doogi guys be careful. I bought a car 8th may and they never told me that the car has clutch problem. They told me only boot not opening and I agreed I'll fix it but when the I contact Kevin Denny to fix it he was arguing that saying I write it a wee note for you and hide it in file when you were taking car away "sold as seen". Now car cost me nearly 1500 pound extra to change clutch

After shoddy heat pump installation Greener Energy Group has left my house significantly damaged. The heating never worked properly. After endless phone calls and sky high electricity bills they decided to send someone who confirmed the installation was incomplete and their complex thermostats were never installed correctly. The pipe work and heating system was installed in wrong place than agreed on the survey. After another set of numerous calls they agreed to put the heating system in agreed
place. Another set of shoddy work and they left a new pipe work leaking. There was noise the whole night through the house that was left cold in severe winter. Internal walls and ceilings over two floors of my house, carpets and external walls are damaged. Their plumbers confirmed poor supply of materials. I have been pleading with them to get the damage sorted but they have washed their hands off as damage is due to ‘old pipe work’ and nothing to do with them. After remaining incommunicado for numerous phone calls and emails to their manager Chris Hird, finally a reply came from their marketing manager Shaun Woods that essentially suggests they are not going to set things right. I am being asked to do it through my home insurance and they will give a paltry contribution. I am hugely disappointed and frustrated with the unprofessional behaviour of Greener Energy Group. They are a disgrace and poor form of an home energy product company. I am left as a helpless customer. Please avoid this company to save yourself agony.
