We had an awesome time here celebrating my wife’s 40th bday! The views were phenomenal and especially beautiful with the Christmas decorations. Excellent service and amazing location!

Nice modern hotel near the train station in city centre. Room was nice and clean with a spacious bathroom. I wouldn’t recommend the breakfast if you are looking for an American style buffet.

Affordable castle style hotel with lovely food options.

Haggis is actually quite nice, if you haven't had it before, why not give it a try.

Room is about £150, dinner is about £25 per person.

No coffee making equipment in the room. TV didn't work and the ipad was just as useless. Blind was so loud when going up or down. We also had a drink in the bar which again is a rip off. Will not stay here again and would not recommend.

Excellent day out on the world's last seagoing paddle steamer

Breakfast naff…mushrooms from a can…sausage so processed it couldn't be cut…no haggis…cheap and thoughtless yet took an age to arrive. Noisy room…crapp shower…won't be back sterile and Iacking in character
