I really wouldn't recommend Dr De Munter — we took our daughter here this afternoon for a general check up (due to there having been no health visitor visits since our daughter was born a year ago) and it really wasn't worth the money — we both walked away saying we wouldn't visit again. Dr Munter's bedside manner with my daughter (and us) wasn't great — she seemed disinterested in her and us, wasn't very tolerant of my daughter wriggling around and for a pediatrician, didn't really have much D … – show

r/child rapport or make much an effort to build a rapport with her. We didn't feel like she made much an effort with us to explain certain points or to give us a general view of our daughters health/development against benchmarks — it felt like we had to pull teeth and that we were being patronized when we asked questions. In addition, Dr De Munter answered her phone during our consultation, which we didn't think was very professional when you're paying GBP150 for a consult. Whilst we were able to come away with a review of our daughters eczema and a prescription, it wasn't a pleasant consult and we didn't feel that this service was comparable in quality with the other private services we have used recently.
